Artist Bio
Anna Pottie is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in experimentation, play, and an evolving mix of mediums. With a background in graphic design, she brings a sharp eye for composition and detail, alongside an interest in nostalgia, wordplay, and the nuances of the human experience.
Anna Pottie is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in experimentation, play, and an evolving mix of mediums. With a background in graphic design, she brings a sharp eye for composition and detail, alongside an interest in nostalgia, wordplay, and the nuances of the human experience.
Her work features layered compositions that explore texture, storytelling, and visual interplay, often incorporating found imagery, embellishments, glitter, and illustration. Through these pieces, personal narratives become spaces for reflection, inviting viewers to form their own interpretations.
Anna’s practice spans visual, literary, and media arts. Her work has been featured on the cover of the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo’s 2024 Annual Report, in NorthWord Literary Magazine, and in exhibitions including Collective Threads (2025).
